Master Composter Training Program
Attend the Master Composter Training Program and become a community expert on waste reduction and composting. The Master Composter Training is offered once per year, January-March. Applications will be accepted for the 2010 training in November of 2009.
Comprehensive Composting Workshops 
Attend a Comprehensive Composting Workshop to learn how to make compost with food scraps and garden trimmings. Get a great deal on a Biostack or Earth Machine compost bin by completing a comprehensive workshop!
Hands-On Wormshops
Atttend a Hands-on Wormshop to learn how to compost food scraps with worms. Get a great deal on a Worm bin by completing a wormshop!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT FREE AND DISCOUNTED COMPOST BINS OFFERED BY GREEN WASTE RECOVERY AND THE COUNTY OF SANTA CRUZ:
Please note that Green Waste Recovery and non-customers who live in the unincorporated area of Santa Cruz County or Scotts Valley are eligible for one free or discounted compost bin per household after completing one compost workshop. Households that have received a free or discounted compost bin after completing a comprehensive workshop will not be eligible for a free or discounted worm bin after completing a wormshop. Likewise, households that have received a free or discounted worm bin after completing a wormshop will not be eligible for a free or discounted bin after completing a comprehensive workshop.
