The Comprehensive composting workshop provides a general overview of composting including what makes composting happen, what should and shouldn't be composted, different techniques for making compost, compost troubleshooting, and how to use compost and mulch in the garden. Comprehensive workshops are FREE to residents of the unincorporated area of Santa Cruz County and Scotts Valley. Residents of the Cities of Santa Cruz, Capitola and Watsonville will be required to pay $50/household. Checks are payable to the County of Santa Cruz.
